Yarden Syrah Brown Vineyard 2023

Yarden Syrah Brown Vineyard 2023 is a distinctive red wine that showcases the unique character of Brown Vineyard, located in the northern Golan Heights. The vineyard sits at an elevation of approximately 1,040 meters above sea level on clay soils mixed with basalt stones, providing ideal conditions for slow ripening and the development of complex aromas and flavors.

Crafted exclusively from Syrah grapes, the wine was hand harvested and fermented in stainless steel tanks. It was then aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, 70% of which were new.

The wine displays rich aromas of blueberries, black raspberries, spices, and citrus notes, complemented by hints of flowers and subtle oak nuances. On the palate, it is full bodied and concentrated, offering a velvety texture, balanced acidity, and a long, complex finish.

Enjoyable upon release, the wine also possesses excellent aging potential and is expected to evolve beautifully for years under proper cellaring conditions.
