 The Wine

The Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon Bar’on Vineyard presents intense aromas of ripe cherries, blackberries, earth, pipe tobacco and cedar, with light notes of juniper.

This single-vineyard Cabernet is rich and ripe, displaying concentrated flavor with a lingering and tasty finish.

Though enjoyable to drink while young, the Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon Bar’on Vineyard will improve in the bottle for a number of years, and should remain in great drinking condition for a decade or more from vintage. A natural choice for festive meals, the wine pairs wonderfully with grilled porterhouse steaks.

This single vineyard wine is made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes harvested from the Bar’on Vineyard, situated in the northern Golan Heights at an elevation of 1,040 meters (3,400 feet). The wine aged for 18 months in French oak barrels.
